Anchors don't behave correctly when preceded by <div> or images

Hi there,

The best way to see what I mean is to look at the example that is currently frustrating me: http://www.math.ucdavis.edu/~wat... should be aligned with the words "About the software" but instead aligns with the top of the previous

    I can't seem to find the offending areas and I'm not sure exactly what kind of structure you're describing.

    If I understand correctly, you want anchors to act as block-level elements so that they sit side-by-side; is this correct?
